a job a day keeps unemployment away

July 25, 2009

One site is attempting to help recent college graduates find entry-level positions, one job at a time.

One Day, One Job is a new blog that focuses on entry-level jobs. Every day, the site takes an in-depth look at a different company and the jobs they offer for recent college graduates. The site uses online and offline resources to find information on jobs that aren’t always covered.

The site was founded by Willy Franzen, a 2006 graduate of Cornell University, when he realized how frustrating a job search can be for new college graduates.

The blog occasionally offers job search advice that focuses on the methods the site uses to find the jobs it lists every day. The company hopes its job postings will serve as an example for how college students can use the Internet to find good information about entry-level opportunities.

In addition, the site also provides recruitment advertising opportunities and entry level and online recruitment consulting services. In essence, the site can help your company reach entry-level candidates online, use the Internet to manage your employment brand or optimize your career Web site.
