i need your help…here m not asking for any job or any openings…i just need that if any of u can please allow me for a 2-3 months internship program in HR..

Termination of a friend

Hi,
To Dear all
I am Chandru Working as Production Engineer in Pvt Firm near Tumukur road,Bengaluru.
My question is that my collegue working as quality engineer was terminated without any reasons. He was in Night shift & was asked to come around 4PM by the manager,& manager told him,company is
terminating you so either give resignation or get terminated.
so my collegue asked for reasons but manager was not able to give any reasons.And friend just resigned.
My questions is that
1.Company has any rights to terminate without any notice.
And as per appoitment letter there is 1 month notice on either side.
2.How can he fight Back.
3.There is nothing recession in our company.
4.What about others mind set in this regard.

To all the seniours please replay your valuable information in this regard
because tommrow the same thing may also happen to us. so we are worried.
