Dear All,

I had put my resignation and had requested to re-leave at the earliest. My manager had asked to serve one month notice. But I could not complete one month notice if i have to join the next job, I am short by almost one week. I had pleaded my current company but no result yet. My notice preiod clause in Appointment letter says

" During your services with the organisation, inclusive of period of probation, extended period of probation and confirmed service, the company may terminate your service without assigning any reason by giving one month notice or basic salary in liew thereof. Should you wish to leave the service of the company, you shall give company an equivalent period of notice in writing. On submitting your resignation, with the required notice period as provided above, Company may choose to accept the resignation with effect from any date as its sole discretion. In this event, you will be paid salary for the remaining portion of notice period."

Please suggest what are the options I have.
