Query on Income Tax

Dear Sir,
My Query is as below :-
‘X’ died long back (during December 2008) , keeping offspring successors ‘A’, ‘B’, & ‘C’. Now, if all the sucessors jointly are selling out a estate / land in Metro City total costing more than 3 Crores & devide the amount in equal share, the amount of Income Tax attracts for them. Please discuss with section & amount of Income Tax or Other Tax.
